• Pasadena Local Emergency Alert System

(PLEAS): Sends Pasadena-specific alerts via text, phone or email. Sign-up is available at www.cityofpasadena.net/Fire/PLEAS.

• Alert LA County: Covers County-wide emergencies. Open to all residents. Click here.
• Nixle: Offers local updates; text ZIP code to 888777 or register at Nixle.com.
• Wireless Emergency Alerts: Built into most smartphones. No opt-in required, but users should check phone settings to ensure alerts are enabled.
